autumn stirs the soul
the leaves were blowing in the wind
and the sky was gray
i thought that this must be the perfect day
the dark and cold felt far away
and yet soon the chill of the night will set upon today
and chase the rainbows away
the midnight sun will no longer be my companion
the endless summers that i slept through
how it flies by as we get older
it felt like it would last forever when i was younger
the sunsets and sunrises above the ocean
a picturesque sunny evening
if summer is youth
